Car making a chirping sound.?

It could be an idler pulley, or maybe the belt tensioner. What you can do to eliminate the belt itself is to put a few drops of dish soap on it. this will quiet it down for a few days. If it still chirps, then its a pulley. You can listen to the pulleys with an automotive stethoscope to determine which one is bad.
