Modeling Booking Agent. legality issue with pay?!!?

I work with a modeling agency and am a Booking Agent. I locate new clients, keep in touch with the old, find our models work (pay range 125$hr to 1500 per hr to the models). The agency gets 20% of what our models make from jobs that I find for them. I am paid min. wage and get no commission at all. I know another person that used to do my job and they received 80 of the 20%. So, I get nothing? Is that right, legally? I was promised that we would split it; haven't seen a penny.
