Is the new Nissan R35 the new Skyline?

They took the Skyline name out of it. The old GT-R's were a collaboration between Prince Motors and Nissan (they merged with Nissan being the larger partner) while the R-35 is named entirely by Nissan. I'm not sure why but there was not agreement to include the "Skyline" name in it. Are they suggesting that it is the next generation after the R-34? Absolutely. Is it a Skyline? Technically, no.
