Solid bike tubes worth it?

I ride a beach cruiser around campus at my university just to get from cl to cl and sometimes I go just to ride around, but that's pretty much it. It seems like my tires always go flat after a week, and I've tried Slime and Fix-A-Flat but it still goes flat anyway (I've started to wonder if someone hates me and is poking holes in my tires lol). Would it be worth it to just buy those solid tubes?
