Why do human need music?

ok i know its awsome but give me a logical explaination why do humans need music. music is abit like food every human needs it. but why. even animals whales will sing and gorrilas will pat musical drum beats in thier chests. and birds will communicate through song. is music a natural power that is just a phisical thing. and music can change ur moods if ur listening to heavey metal u follow the flow and become angry and when u listen to relaxing mucis and softer rocks and hip hop u become relaxed. and when ur istening to a pop like dance song u want to dance why does music have this effect on ppl for afterall its just noise in a creative rhythem. and also the messege inspires ppl. where its any genere why do we need it. ppl say its to calm us down from office life and society. but thier was music during cavemen times and middle age times even phistroic and thier were no offices and work life back then. and singing dident come into music later so it must of been beats which atracted our anceters to like it i think. and that maybe why ppl dont care about lyrics and only ant a good beat. but what is this power of music and why does it insipire and is loved by many ppl.
